my approach
the architect

Each project is different and requires its own unique solution which must be appropriate in:

  • matching client's requirements to their budget
  • responding to the physical context of the site
  • creating practical, flexible and pleasing environments

Quality service

Your time and money are valuable to you and I endeavour to provide the type of service I would hope to receive myself if I were the client. I do this by:

  • giving realistic advice on budgets and timescales
  • careful consideration of design decisions which have cost/time implications
  • building a good working relationship and maintaining good communications with all involved

Designing for the future

At the same time as creating solutions which meet the needs of users, the future and well-being of our environment needs to be respected through:

  • specifying environmentally friendly materials and techniques which foster sustainability
  • aiming at low running costs (energy and maintenance especially)
  • creating well lit and ventilated spaces naturally, wherever possible
